Coming back to the original task however: wouldn't it be nice to use something like dogtail or LDTP to automate taking uniform screenshots in different languages? I had searched around for this in the past, and it's apparently not easy yet, but I guess (developer) time would be well spent in that area. Cool thing.

We are finally getting closer to the state that we would like it to have for GIMP 2.4 but we aren't there yet.
